Kiyomizudera 清水寺, Kyoto Japan


Kiyomizudera 清水寺 was the first temple we visited in Kyoto..And our 1st day in Kyoto was a raining day..
The bus station is just located in front of the hotel where we were staying. All stops were clearly written with those popular temple's name..Just buy daily day pass at this machine..

This is the Bus daily Day Pass, JPY 500 unlimited stop, otherwise one way is JPY 220..

(Updated on 9th Jul- take bus no 100 or 206 from Kyoto bus station, stop at 五条坂 (there is a screen inside the bus to show you every stop name) . Cross the road to opposite and take the right turn when see a T junction.

The road leading up to Kiyomizudera is chawanzaka 茶碗坂, literally meaning “tea bowl street”. I can just admired on those beautiful plates and bowls, no way i can carry such heavy items to walk for a whole day..

 After walked for a while and we reached the foot of kiyomizudera 京都清水寺. I saw many school students and i guess it was a school holiday at that time.

I also bought one of this for Lucas who will be taking UPSR this year, hope he can success in this exam ^_^
